It was complicated... I was confused why Nancy Meyers, such a great director and writer, chose to do such a sleeper... literally, a sleeper! Maybe I was VERY tired when I watched it but oh man, this movie was slower than a sleeping turtle. With such a great cast and crew, how could it have gone wrong? Its because there was nothing in this film that i could relate to. I was officially out of the demographic for this film! Congratulations Hollywood, you figured out how to keep teenagers out of the theaters so that the baby boomers can have a night out without text messages and popcorn throwing. I'm sure it was a decent film... perhaps my subconscious enjoyed it while my eyes took a nap.
